“So lucky to do this thing” – Simone Biles on “building dream home” with husband Jonathan Owens
Life after the 2024 Paris Olympics has been nothing short of exhilarating for Simone Biles, who was recently seen soaking up the joy of building her new home along with her husband Jonathan Owens. Biles had a successful run during her third appearance at the Games.
The American gymnast bagged four medals, including three gold and one silver medal in the French capital. She earned gold medals in the team, individual all-around, and vault events and a silver medal in the floor exercise event.
Following her medal-winning performance at the Olympic Games, Biles has been engaged in multiple activities, including juggling interviews, giving media appearances, and celebrating her hard-earned victory. Amidst this buzz, she was seen giving fans a glimpse of her new home being built with Owens.
The Olympian, who is currently residing in Houston, Texas, has a 4,000-square-foot luxury home, which she purchased in 2020. She is building a lakeside mansion in her home state Texas. The under-construction abode features an upper level with a game room, home theater, and wet bar, as well as a balcony overlooking the lake view.
The couple laid the foundation for their house in March 2023 and the gymnast has been seen constantly updating her fans with the progress. She recently visited the house with Owens and shared a few pictures on her Instagram story.
“Building our dream home,” she wrote in one of her stories. “So lucky to do the thing called life with you.”
